I am hoping that someone can tell me I am missing something really obvious because in the rules because right now it makes absolutely no sense to me.

Assuming you're ok with all the rules, the main deductions I'd make in this game are that:
1) Since K is the first female and therefore comes before GHI, since she can't attend the first class, the earliest she can attend is the second class - which means that GHI can't go in the second class earlier. 
2) Combine all the other rules to see that the IL block comes before G, which comes before P/O.  This m eans O and P are eliminated from being in the first or second class; the IL block cannot be in the fifth or sixth class; G can't be in the sixth class (remember that although G has to come before O and P, O and P can be in the SAME class and not necessarily different classes).
