Not to discourage you guys, but FYI, roughly 90% of my classmates HATE law school.  I do like it…but I’m definitely in the minority.  You’ve been warned.

Just FYI, 90% of all statistics are bull.

More importantly; you don't go to law school to enjoy law school, you go there to become a lawyer. It'd be much more interesting if 90% of your law school graduate friends weren't happy with their decision.

id say over half my classmates dislike law school

I dont think many people anywhere like it; its a necessary evil so you can get a job and not starve to death.

Conversely, law school can be pretty enjoyable if you're NOT counting on being in the top portion of your class OR if you're NOT focused on being a practicing attorney after graduation. True, there are few people that fall into either of those categories, but if you're in that special situation where actually learning in law school is more important than whatever grade you get at the end of the semester, then law school CAN be fun.

That's where I'll disagree with you. Yeah, some students actually DO like going to class. Granted, I didn't feel that way when I was a 'traditional' college student, but now, as a non-trad that's spent many years out in the real world, when you go back, you really do enjoy the classroom setting.
I guess it's a benefit of perspective v. the lost opportunities of youth... but I wish I had those years back to do all over again.
