Oh that Angry Wave is so much better. I say we start a petition to get it back.

God, it's gonna be hard attending a school with no football team to speak of (I say what I mean, mean what I say). And no, the Saints don't make up for it.

Thank you all so much. One of the things that really made me want to go to Tulane was the friendliness of the students. You guys are all the best advertisement for the school.

Thanks on the avatar. I can't see it on my computer for some reason. Still has the UF gator  >:(.

Bait-n-switch time

What sucks at Tulane...

1. The carpets suck.  I imagine most of you witnessed it when you visited.  Each summer Tulane says they are going to be replaced, but it hasn't happened yet.

2. The Men's bathrooms suck.  The rubber urinal blockers keep disappearing, exposing the gross hard-water stained ceramic bottom area.  They also don't "feel" clean enough.  Third floor tiny bathroom is the worst.

3. The CDO class sucks.  They should, instead, require each student to send in a resume and meet, individually, with a member of the CDO to discuss the student's employment strategy.

(this can actually probably be found in the thread already, but I'm bored)

Tulane students, please add to the list/discuss.

(also congrats vjm)

Hey Guys,

How's the food in the eatery on campus at Tulane?  I never got a chance to check it out prior to committing.

Also, and most importantly, is there a Smoothie King near campus?

The food court nearest the law building is pretty solid.

There is a smoothie king right behind the school across claiborne.

Yep.  They love people to come in and chat.

How sad is it that I've already Google Mapped all my favorite fast food joints to make sure they exist in my new world?

I've eaten a ton of Taco Bueno, Chik-fil-a, and Chipotle upon returning to Dallas.  They were dearly missed.

Well I am moving into my house in NOLA on Friday, sweet, but I will not be living there permanently until mid July  :-[, I am excited to move and even more excited because I have three weddings to attend in NOLA in the next month and now I have a place to stay and have my mutt of a dog with me.

Also no Chick Fil A in NOLA, that sucks, but then again I have lived without Krystal and Bojangles for the last five years so I guess I can survive.
