I made the same grade in Con Law (thought I was screwed afterwards) as Property (thought I destroyed it).

I thought I did very well on both and my grades were incredibly (unbelievably maybe) divergent.

Its officially impossible to fail a class in law school.  You heard it here first.  I'm serious... if I didn't do it this past semester in property, it cannot be done.

PS - Lol that ridiculous con law test ended up being my best grade.

botbot!  perhaps you know the answer to this awkwardly worded question...  with what gpa could a person be relatively secure to assume that he graded onto law review?

3.7 should be safe

The cutoff should be somewhere between 3.55 and 3.65.

Something like that, although I am not sure on the moot court rules.

Visiting professor?

No, but he/she's a brand new prof.

Property grades are up, by the way.
Thanks for the heads up. I am interested to see the distribution on this one when it comes out.
He/She/It is nice enough, but a very different law school experience.
Oh well. We'll see.

I'm just glad that the grades are all up. Man, LRW actually saved my ass this semester. Who would have thought that the class I so passionately despised would actually come through for me?

Word to that. The brief saved my ass from being a complete GPA F'er.
After a year of law school, I see no rhyme or reason to how I did in the respective classes. The classes I think I crush are average and those that I think I sucked on are the best.
Congrats on the LRW success. That is my biggest regret. I should have done more to get better, faster.
I can live with the results.

Thanks.

Seriously, though, my grades have absolutely no rhyme or reason to them.

I would feel better about my ability if there was at least some consistency in my grades. But they're all over the place, and I've decided to just stop predicting how I'm going to do after the exams.

Anyway, woo-hoo for being done with IL! This is when it starts getting easy, right? Maybe not.

I think its:

top 10%= law review, next 5%= automatic moot court.
Not positive, though.

I'm thinking the last weekend of July.  That will give me about 3 weeks to experience the city before I'm not allowed to leave the 4 block section Freret between my house and the LS any more.

I was just down there less than a week ago and I can't wait to go back though.  If my parents would keep paying for everything I would probably move down when our lease starts July 1, but when I move out the cash flow pretty much stops (except for a few things).  I'm going to milk that for all it is worth.  Plus, most of the people that I have met already are moving down around that time too.
