To make you feel better... Our law office got a letter recently from a court in Richmond VA addressed to Ashville, TN ... we are in Nashville. The address and zip were fine and there was no delay in the arrival.

ZIP Code + ZIP+4 + Delivery Point

Most of the address is superfluous and is used only by your local mail carrier or if part of the above number is missing. Because the ZIP Code alone uniquely describes what city the mail is going to, the city name is ignored if the zip code is present.
