a weird kind of addendum?
« on: October 16, 2007, 09:08:51 PM »
Hey -

Looking for some advice if it would be weird to add some personal information into my application.  I'm from NY  but just moved to Northern Cali with my husband who just started medical school.  That being said, I have to limit my options of where I can apply because I can't see myself moving away from my husband (I'm sure other people have made that decision, but I'm not in favor of doing that).

Do you think an admissions committee would find that ridiculous if I mentioned it?  Basically... I can only apply to about 4 schools here which makes a big difference to my application process.

Let me know what you think...don't be mean!!

I wouldn't include an addendum, but you could write a short, generic "why" essay for each school and include it in there.
