Directing LOR to specific schools
« on: October 16, 2007, 08:39:58 PM »
Another recommendation question.

I asked for three recommendations: two from professors and one from a supervisor/attorney at work. Both letters from my profs have been processed by LSAC and I think they will be pretty good (I saw one and was really happy with it). Today I just received a copy of the LOR from my supervisor and I think it's complimentary considering she hasn't known me that long, but I just have this lingering feeling like it isn't positive enough...

So, my first question is 1. can you tell LSAC to send only some of your letters to schools and which ones specifically to send? 2. do you think "faint praise" as Ivey would say is preferable to or worse than not submitting an extra LOR?

I did search for this a bit and got some information about making your letters inactive, but the threads were pretty old and I wanted fresh perspectives. Thanks!

if you log in to your lsac acct and click the lsdas/lor tab, you'll find all the info you need.
