Predict Your Score

Hard to say: I did more educated guesses than usual which may or may not have hit badly, particularly on RC, and depends on whether the scale was nice or not but I'd say 170-173, and I wouldn't be shocked to see as low as 168.

(My last 6 practice tests have been over 175.)

What would be worse?  Canceling your Sept. LSAT when you would've got a 170+....you never know! and retaking in Dec. after studying 200+ hours from now till then and making a mistake and getting a 160?  Or .....

DON'T CANCEL!  Most schools take the higher score.

This test seemed easier than June, I would venture to say 163 for me.

Between 160 and 163.  The really sad thing is that I might be right.

= 160 to 162

(Average Preptest...166+...Damn those LGames!) >:(

Welcome to the club! I feel exactly the same as you do on those numbers (both predicted, and what I'll actually get).

So what do you think...retake in Dec or not?

It's hard to say. The school I want to get into has a media LSAT of about 166..So if I end up getting a 160-162, I'll more than likely have to resign myself to my second choice schools. A 164-165 makes me borderline. I have a solid GPA (above my ideal school's median) in a very difficult major.

I think if I get less than a 162, I'll probably retake in December but not really worry about it too much. I don't think I can prep much more than I actually did. I'll still retain most of the strategies I already know. If I retake, I'll only study like two weeks in advance just to get back in the LSAT studying mode.

That's my feelings on things. It's so frustrating to do so well on average, but have one potential test represent the LOWEST of your normal scores. 162 was around my low point.

That's exactly how I feel. The worst is I've scored so many times in the upper 160's and low 170's that my parents (who honestly have no idea how hard this test is) just assume I'm going to hit one of those scores. They consol me when I get a 165 for goodness sake. I wish I could go back in time and throw around a few pretend 150's at the dinner table just to make this a little more tolerable. For me 163 is the cutoff with Dec. Anyways, good luck with the outcome.

Worst case 165 which will make me wish I cancelled, but with a little luck and an ok curve I'd say a 170 is still a possibility.

Maybe a 165-167...if the scale is brutal maybe as low as a 163, if it's forgiving and I did well on RC (hard for me to tell) then maybe I pulled a 169.  Doubt I hit my 170.
