Addendum advice
« on: September 26, 2007, 04:31:41 PM »
New member here, glad I found this website.

Anyways, I would to get some opinions or advice as to how I should approach this addendum.

Basically, I averaged about a 3.78 during my freshman, sophomore and senior year. During my junior year I suffered a detached retina and I went under the knife (detached retina = no vision).  This left me out of commission for almost a month during my fall semester.  As a result my grades suffered.

During my 2nd semester the retina in my left eye detached which left me no option but to undergo surgery again.  I couldn't afford to take the year off so I decided to fight through it.

In the end my average GPA for my junior year was a 3.3.

Bad vision and bad luck I guess.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

sure do an addendum... you have a good reason. 1 paragraph, just the facts and you should be good to go.
