June 2005 games, rule question

June 2005 games, rule question
« on: September 23, 2007, 03:27:49 PM »
Each side if four cassette tapes --Tapes 1 through 4 -- contains exactly... folk, hip-hop, jazz, and rock.

the the rule states, Tape 1 has jazz on at least one side, but neither hip-hop nor rock.

Why does this not preclude Hip-hop from either of the sides?  I, mistakely, though it meant Jazz in on one side or both, but Rock and Hip-hop cannot be on the other.

Thx.

The rule means that tape #1 is either Jazz/Jazz or Jazz/Folk. Those are the only two possibilities.

I realize that, but according to the "PowerScore" explanation.  It's Jazz/Hip and Jazz.  It must be an error because the next question in the explanation is completely unrelated to the game.

Yea. It's probably an error.
