Foreign Transcripts and GPAs
« on: September 21, 2007, 04:53:15 PM »
I'm thinking about applying to Law School with a BA from university in New Zealand. My transcript lists grades as letters, ranging from D to A+. I have a question about how the LSDAS JD CAS system will handle my transcript: will it calculate a GPA, based on my letter grades, or will they evaluate my transcript in some other way?

I rang LSAC to ask about this. The woman on the phone told me I'd have to just send them my transcript and then wait and see. I'm hoping somebody here has already done this, and has found out. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
