Law School Discussion

Biographical personal statements that border on being DS statements.

I wrote my PS, but I'm not sure if it's sounds like a diversity statement.  It's somewhat biographical, by somewhat I mean that it does not go as, "I was born here, went there, realized that, went somewhere else,"  but pretty much just one major event in my life that spun for several years. My PS talks about my nationality and obstacles that I have faced due to it.  However, when I was re reading applications to some schools, and although their personal statements guidelines are vagues, they state that a diversity statement should be included if one has faced discrimination of some sorts.  That made me wonder if my PS should even talk about my nationality.  My background made me what I am now, but I wonder if schools want that info in my DS and not my PS.

Any thoughts?
