Check out this incredibly discouraging LSN profile from someone with my exact numbers last cycle :S

He got accepted into Cornell but thats it pretty much. Look at his yields. Like 3 out of 17. I wish I could email the guy and ask him what the hell happened. I hope my cycle isn't that bad.

Personally I don't think that's that bad...he still got into Cornell and will probably be able to get a job wherever he wants.

And it's a girl.

There's lady-splitters?!

Well, I'm hoping to get a 180 (so far I know of 1 question I got wrong and a million I got right, including pretty much every one I wasn't sure about), and my GPA's in the twos. Fortunately I have another year to continue my trend of improving grades.

All non-splitters please leave us to our misery. Also, prospective splitters. Congrats on the bad grades, but let's not give ourselves bad karma with ridiculous posts like the one above.

*bump

3.0/172, gross.

Results for splitters in '07-'08?

Does anyone have a link to the '06-'07 splitter threads?

Where is the button for 'search'? =(

Bump

Since the cycle is winding down I'm interested in seeing how splitters have done so far.  Have the acceptances mostly been from the usual suspects or are new schools becoming splitter-friendly?

I'm working with a 2.7/169.. definite splitter.  To top that off, I applied VERY late to every law school (pretty much at or near the deadlines for each).

acceptances:
SMU      - 46 $$
Baylor   - 55 $$
U of H   - 55 $$
Tx Tech  - t3

Waitlist:
Notre Dame- 22

Pending:
tons of tier 1s plus georgetown.

I'm a splitter (174/3.4) and I am in at University of Maryland$$$, GW, GULC, Penn, NYU, and Northwestern.  I'm "on reserve" at Columbia (no surprise) and waitlisted at Michigan (which I was actually pretty surprised by, but maybe I had just gotten a little greedy.)

170/3.1 and Michigan and Georgetown, with a handful of WLs
Pretty surprised at Georgetown, actually. Figured I'd get into Cornell before I get into GULC.

2.8/170

In: GW, W&L, UIUC, Lewis & Clark, Pacific
WL: Virginia, William & Mary
Out: UWash, Vandy, GULC, George Mason, American
Pending: Cornell, Gonzaga

My cycle really hasn't gone how I expected it. I got accepted by a few that I didn't expect and rejected by a few I didn't expect. WL at UVa makes me happy and I'm praying that I can get in there or at Cornell.
