I went in to talk with one of my recommenders. As I was explaining something to him about the process or what he could include or something, he started smiling at me. He said that this would be the easiest recommendation he's ever written, that most people only give him about a week to write a recommendation, and that I was really prepared, and that he could just see me being a lawyer.
I told him I'd provide him with a transcript, resume, a list of questions/qualities that he could comment on, and a paper I had written for him. Nothing above and beyond what anyone here would do (that's where I got the advice in the first place), but obviously much more than people at my school do.
