It varies for me depending on which city/school im looking at, but it avgs just under 1500/month   :'(

I plan to take out everything they will let me. Invest what I don't use into an interest bearing account, and write a hellava 1st repayment check. I figure if something happens it is nice to have a reserve.

You know me so well! But I did choose 500-1000 because I am really hoping for a state school, otherwise it will be 1000-1500 since I'll be off to DC or NYC.

I could live off $1000/mo, rent included, if I absolutely, positively had to. It would be incredibly unpleasant, but I've lived off less.

The boyfriend would cover 1/2 of living expenses... at least that is the plan right now. Otherwise I'd be kinda screwed.
