Soft Skills for Lawyers????????
« on: September 04, 2007, 07:52:02 AM »
Guys

Are we sure that during at law school we are developing all the skills we need to become a successful lawyer?

What about, for example, how we are going to behave in the office and what rules we should follow when dealing with partners, other associates and clients? It seems that the ability to deal with people effectively and politely (also known as ‘soft skills’) is just as important as, if not more important than, technical skills.

A comprehensive book on this topic, called "Soft Skills for Lawyers", has now been published. It is written by a qualified lawyer and is available to buy from www.chelseapublishing.com. A free preview of the book can also be downloaded from that website and I hope it will be of help! :)

It's, like, a comment on modern society.  What is reality?  Is there anything realer than real?

That picture is a work of art. Drunk as hell, about to pass out, sitting on the toilet, puking into a garbage can, and god damn it there's no toilet paper!

The person who took this picture has stolen a page from Charles Bukowski.

And the shoes.  It really is the best response to crass promotion.

And the lack of pants.

How are we defining qualified lawyer?

Most lawyers have soft skills in their pants.

Most lawyers have soft skills in their pants.

They make medicine for that.

It probably won't work for most lawyers.
