LSAT 158/168 GPA 3.4

Rejected:
Columbia, U of Washington, U of Texas, U of Michigan, Boston College

Waitlisted:
Fordham, Georgetown, Northwestern

Pending:
U of Penn, Hastings, Washington and Lee

Accepted:
Brooklyn, Cornell

Cornell just considers the highest LSAT as does UPenn, Northwestern and Georgetown. Personally I am hoping on getting in at Hastings because I really want to stay on the West Coast.

This thread is going to get awful long and hard to get through.

I think I'll have to post the same suggestion as marcman:

Go to www.lawschoonumbers.com
The information is much more comprehensive.

My undergraduate cumulative was 3.4, graduate was about 3.9 (MS) and LSAT 164.

Applied to two schools:

University of Colorado: Applied by Dec. 1.  Acceptance letter received late January.  No word of financial aid/scholarships yet.

University of Denver:  Applied by Dec. 1.  Acceptance email around Feb 15.  Scholarship information received about March 1st.  No word on financial aid though.

It might be helpful for everyone to post information on when they received scholarship/financial aid info because it sounds like some people are waiting on that to make a final decision.  I've read on other boards that some people have already gotten information from CU and although right now that is my first pick, as I've gotten some money from DU, until I get some word on the costs of CU I can't be certain that it will remain my first pick.

Good luck to everyone still waiting and/or trying to make a decision  :)

175/3.44

Rejected:  Boalt, Boston College, Stanford, UT Austin

Accepted:  Hastings, Davis, Santa Clara, USD, Gerogetown, Noorthwestern

Pending:  UCLA, USC, NYU, Loyola (Los Angeles)

I'm tired of waiting... Isn't it torture?  UCLA and USC are two of my top choices so I would really like to hear from them soon...

what i'd like to know is how in the WORLD you actually got rejection letters, skotval!  :o  i would think that your numbers could get you in ANYwhere you wanted!! especially those places!! i am terribly sorry to hear that you got rejection letters period. i wish you much success with the schools your waiting for as well as your decision making process on who to accept.

cheers,
aj :)

I know, bizarre.  What did you have a felony conviction or something?  Especially BC -- where do they get off?  Whatever.  Best of luck, I'm sure you'll do great wherever you end up.

Hahaha... nope I'm not a convicted felon or anything... I think it was my GPA that was the reason.  It's not bad, but not really stellar either.  I didn't expect to get into Stanford and Boalt, and Texas at least has that requirement of taking something like 75% of their students from in-state (I'm from CA), but your guess is as good as mine about Boston College!! It's okay, I didn't really want to go there.  I definitely would like to hear from UCLA and USC though....  I think it is just so much harder to get in everywhere this year.
