Boston doesn't even come close.  I'd put Boston in the same rank as Buffalo.

I don't know about my favorites. I'm not generally a big city person, but I do like Boston, SF, Chicago, and NYC. They each have their great and poor qualities. My favorite city is currently the one I live in, though. Or maybe Portland.
