PS Title/Header?

I knnow there have already been two threads on this..but there weren't many responses.

Does anyone have any idea if we are supposed to title our PSs with
something besides "personal statement" ?

Also, I guess that we are supposed to put name + SS#, but what about
page number?

I was thinking of a header like this

Name -  SS#                                 Page#

I wasn't sure however, if page# should only be listed on the second
page (as is standard for most essays) or if it should be listed on the
first as well.

I think it's a little obvious that the header means it's the first page.  List page # starting on the second sheet.

uhh yeh, but how are they supposed to know how many total pages it has...
What if they only have the first page and somehow lost the others?
Maybe they will think that there is only one page to the essay?

do most schools require you to put your SSN and name on each page?  I wasn't planning on doing that (no title either  )

How long is the thing?  Most schools that I know of are asking for about 750 words - double spaced this hits less than two pages.

Im around 759 words and its 1 3/4 pages with header etx

Header on every page of every essay/addendu:  name, ss#, LSAC#, "personal statement".  If they can't figure out that there's a second page or can't figure out which one's the first or which one's the second, than I have bigger concerns than wether I included page numbers or not.

It just so happens that my paper is perfectly split from page1 to page two and they could think it was a bad essay if they didn't see page2... thats why i asked.

Then I'd say put "Page 1 of 2" at the bottom as opposed to in the header.
