Besides going to LS, what can one do with a degree in pre-law? Can one work as a legal assistant?

Wait a minute. Does such a degree actually exist somewhere? I've heard of people declaring themselves "pre-law" but their bachelor degrees are in regular fields.

UCONN has a Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in law and society/pre-law.

My school has a pre-law curriculum, but your bachelor's actually ends up being in political science.
