W/F grades

How are "Withdrew Failing" grades looked at by LSDAS?  Just like you flunked?  Not that I had any way back when.  Well, two.

Got an answer from LSDAS, they do not include Withdrawn grades if it is a simple Withdraw.  Anything noted as Withdrew Failing is counted as an "F".  The picture gets uglier.  could this whole process be anymore depressing?  It was 30 years ago.....I'm about to give up....

No no NO!!! Don't give up. This is where your personal statement is a perfect opportunity to explain away a low GPA. Especially if you have a decent LSAT.

Thanks for the encouragement....I keep hearing about "auto-deny" and that gives me the feeling that the numbers are entered and BOOM off you go without another glance at personal statement, etc.  I would hope that some "whole person" approach would be used rather than a spreadsheet.  I would expect it from a Harvard or Yale but I'm talking about Stetson and the like....
