How do you cut down on LG mistakes?

Okay, so I'm getting pretty good at solving games, I think. My diagrams are pretty strong, and time isn't too much of a problem.

However, I'm still misreading questions/rules occasionally, which is leading to a few missed questions per section, and a lot of time-consuming backtracking, which is stupid.

And strange, because I don't make these sorts of mistakes on LR or RC.

Is this just a result of feeling hurried? I hope it is, because with more practice, I should get faster, and won't feel as stressed, so hopefully the mistakes will go away...

Anyone have any advice?

My biggest problem is that I don't draw the diagrams neatly. Once I begin the questions, I waste needless time trying to decipher my handwriting, and end up forgetting key inferences during this process.
