Seton Hall/Pace U.
« on: August 02, 2007, 10:03:57 AM »
as you can tell, i can't decide to go to seton hall or pace
Whereas Pace gave 15k and scholarship (i already turned in deposit and first payment cause im waitlisted admit to seton ahll)
Seton hall has a better ranking
also-
Pace is 10 mins away from where i live, so in reality im saving 30k a year
however, the chances of finishing higher in the pack at pace are higher
any help is great, im not sure on a specialty, i just want to be open

My thoughts:

I would not attend either school.  Both have insanely high tuition ($38,040/year for Seton Hall, $37,276/year for Pace) and mediocre job prospects for those who aren't at the top of the class.

You said that you aren't sure about a specialty.  Are you sure that you even want to go to law school and become a lawyer?

If you intend to start your own law firm, and are the entrepreneurial type of person who can bring in the business, Pace might not be a bad option.  $15k/year scholarship and savings in housing over three years are substantial.
