Help me LSD! Could I get into UW-Madison????

I am an Asian-American Male who has a 3.53 GPA Cumulative at Univ. Illinois-Urbana-Champaign in the Business School (finance). I scored a 160 on my lsat. I know UW-Madison looks for a diverse student body, and was wondering what you guys thought.

My other schools that I am looking at (tell me if they're realistic or not):

Chicago Kent- IIT
Loyola University- Chicago
IU-Bloomington
American Univ.
Wake Forest
UIUC Law
UNC- Chapel Hill
DePaul

I would say you definetely have a shot. Your numbers are good. Apply early and schedule a visit, meet with the assistant dean of admissions. Good luck!

no offense to the OP, but the suggestion of Cornell is a pretty bad one.  If you are looking for reaches look towards, W&L, BU, BC, Iowa, UMinn, Emory.

for these schools and UIUC ("reaches"), check www.lawschoolnumbers.com and if there's a remote chance go for it --- I'm not sure if Asian-American = URM ?

Thought the list was a good start -- it'll boil down to "where do you want to practice" though... if that's in chicago, then you would probably want to go to a chicago school or a nearby big 10 school (e.g. wisconsin, iowa, indiana,)...

Cornell isn't difficult to get into if you have sufficient credentials on your resume with these stats.
