best choices for corporate "video game" law exposure?
« on: July 28, 2007, 03:41:33 PM »
I'd like to find a school that would prepare me for corporate law and has ties with the video game industry. I spent a year living in Japan and studied the language for years. I'd like a school that could offer me international corporate law exposure as well.

It would be nice to work for Nintendo/Capcom/Sega/Konami legal team.

Any advice on which schools to look at?

Schools w/ top IP programs (with the usual caveat that top ranked schools trump schools with top-ranked specialties).

Go to UW... Nintendo owns half of Seattle.

Starbucks owns the other half, and Microsoft owns the outlying areas.

I wonder what the pressing issues in video game law are these days.

I think UCLA has a course designed toward video game law
