Reading LORS
« on: September 22, 2004, 12:54:13 AM »
I gave them the stamped envelope to mail it and waived my access to the letter, but do u think it's rude for me to ask my recommenders to send me a copy (if not, how should I ask?)?  They never offered to send it to me, and I didn't ask.

Don't ask.  If you're concerned about needing the rec for something else, set up a document file with your school, if they offer such a service.  If you had wanted to see it, you should have asked right from the start when you met with them to discuss your rec.

Heh, my boss is writing a letter for me and gave it to me to suggest any revisions before he sends it...
