in the admissions game being african-american and a vet is a tremendous plus.  you can certainly attend a T1 school with your score.  apply early and you'll be fine.

Very late to this thread, but from the W&L incoming class of 2010, it's looks like W&L law is making a serious effort to increase the diversity of its student population.  As a URM with military service, I think you've got a good shot at W&L if you let them know how interested you are in the school, and I think you'd have a great shot with a 160.  PM me if you have any more questions.

LSAT - 156
GPA - 3.6
Age 24
URM = yes, Black
Soft facotors = maybe. Deployed overseas in the military.

Would that get me into a good school, or do I really need to take this LSAT again.

You should aim high. Your military service and diversity background will be very attractive to Adcom's. You should check LSN to get a sense of how URM candidates with similar stats to yours did last year. Good luck and thank you for your service.

honestly, with your stats and your experience..i would recommend you apply to schools in the top 20-30. Not too many AA's are entering law school and schools are desperate to increase their diversity numbers..i think your LSAT score is solid, considering that very few AA' s get over 155, let alone a 160.
