What percent should someone be before checking that box as their race/ethnicity?

Only 100% should claim to be so
At Least Half
Some traceable amount no matter how small
If the person feels like they are or identifies with that race/ethnicity

What constitutes a minority (percentage wise)?
« on: July 20, 2007, 04:11:07 PM »
I'm sure this has been gone over many times, but this forum is particularly difficult to dig through.

Say someone is part URM (Native American, African American, Latino).  What percentage is necessary to check that box on the application?

Do any schools actually check or ask for documentation?

Please discuss.
Cycle finally finished!

The test (if I ruled the world): Did the individual self-identify as belonging to [minority group] before he started worrying about college or graduate school admissions?
I was referring to your intellectual penis. Which is quite robust.

Jolie is creeping up on me.
