So, Ive been thinking about this more recently.  i dont like babies (ick) but maybe some of the older kids would be ok.

Adopting seems ok, although I'm not a big fan of kids either. I have an aunt and uncle who's foster parents, and that really seems like *&^%. Every time the kids' mum is out of rehab she comes around making living hell and demanding her kids back and all kinds of *&^%.

I have always planned of adopting. I want at least 3 of my own and then I'll adopt an older child. In Florida, if a foster child is adopted they get free tuition in Florida schools for college. Just something to think about

Adoption kicks ass and I'm psyched to do it someday. I would like to adopt kids that are harder to place. I still want to adopt them when they are relatively young, but maybe I'll adopt some young kids who are siblings and need to be placed together.

i think id prefer an older kind, at least 8 or 9

its just heart breaking when you read some of the lives these kids lead...

I'm not sure I would adopt an older child if I already had a few of my own. I dont mean to sound heartless, but many of those kids that have been through the system for 10 or 12 years, are often trouble makers. (Understandably...)  I just wouldn't want it interfering with my family.
On the other hand, if I were single, and without kids, I think I would have the time and patience to do something like that..

And I am SO against international adoption. There are so many kids in our own country that need homes... you can't save an entire nation by adopting children. Yes, it gives that particular child a better life, but so many people think it actually makes a difference to the country as a whole... I just dont see how...
