Waving hello
« on: July 16, 2007, 01:29:41 PM »
I've been lurking about a week. I'm 38, almost 39, and am seriously considering law school for fall of 2008. I've begun preparing for the Sept LSAT. I have 5 children, 3 teens and 2 toddler/preshoolers. Law school was what I'd planned to do since high school and through college but I was interrupted by rampant fertility. I have an amazing support system. I'm not really planning on uprooting my family to pursue law school, especially since both sets of grandparents live nearby and can provide support while I'm in school. I have a good UG gpa, 3.87, though I don't know how that will work out for lsac gpa. I'm shooting for a 165 on the LSAT. If I don't get at least 163, I'll likely hold off on applications and perhaps forget this idea altogether.

The threads here have been enlightening :)
