If you're gullible enough to believe that psychic abilities can be real, you shouldn't go to law school.

Ok maybe I should have not asked for opinions on this one. Sorry. Deleting.

edit: oops...so apparently I'm not allowed to delete it.

just re-register and get a new name.  Start over and don't *ever* tell anyone it was you who started this thread.

This reminds me of a New Yorker cartoon.

A man and a woman are sitting on a couch.  A child in a baseball uniform is in the background (walking away from the woom).  The woman says to the man, "So he got a trophy for good sportsmanship--he can still become a lawyer."

Anyway, a lot of people have negative opinions about lawyers, the legal profession, etc.  The first psychic basically said that you are too ethical to become a lawyer.  If you want to go to law school and become a lawyer, go to law school and become a lawyer.  You can do it.

Ultimately, the only person who knows whether or not you should become a lawyer is you.  Have faith in yourself and don't let a psychic or two get you down.

Did nobody see the humor in this? Good Lord, lighten up!

Thank you for those that at least had nice things to say.

To the rest of you: remove the pole.

Has anyone ever heard that Dane Cook practical joke skit at the airport where he tries to freak out this guy waiting for his plane at the gate? He walks over to him slowly and stands right in front of him, doesn't say anything until he looks up at him, then he looks at him really seriously in the eyes and says "donít get on the flight" and walks away. Then this guy just sits there going "I donít think I should get on this f-ing flight. I think an angel just told me not to get on the flight. Thank you angel wearing jeans!" Because thats what this situation reminds me of! haha

To the OP, this should help:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11909496/

James Randi looks to debunk psychics, faith healers, mediums and others.  He has offered a $1 million prize for years, earmarked for anyone who can prove supernatural powers. It remains unclaimed.

Yes he is

Did you see his show Tourgasm or his recent stand-up special on HBO?  They were both completely awful.  He WAS kind of funny, years ago, but that time has passed.
