LSU Law? Your thoughts?
« on: July 10, 2007, 05:28:58 PM »
Hey guys, just a little curious after using the LSAC UGPA/LSAT tool. I graduated magna cum laude in chemical engineering (3.7 gpa maybe will be like 3.6 LSAC) and got a 149 this past juen on the lsat.  I was valedictorian of my highschool and got some major scholarships at Tulane university where i did my undergrad. Worked for a major oil company for the past 3 years with some serious project work.

LSU's index is 10*GPA +LSAT . Do you think I will get any more points on the gpa side because it was a very tough major? Will the valedictorian and top notch work at a local corporate giant help? Also between the scores of 145-154 there were 155 people admitted last year. 22 of which were in the 145-149 category. So what do yall think, can i get in? I must mention that I am not a minority.

Too Embarrassed
