Transferring from UMiami to low ranked Tier 1 (SMU)?
« on: July 04, 2007, 07:40:46 PM »
How hard would this be? Would top 40% do it or am I being too optimistic? Just throwing things around right now, but I'm just curious what I would need from UMiami 1L to get into SMU Law?

Regardless of what school you want to transfer to, most schools want you to be in the top 10-15% of your class. And if you want to attend SMU then you should have probably applied there early on. Again, don't start off thinking that you are going to transfer. Schools only let in a very small amount of transfers each year, if any.
