Dammit!  Mylocalsuperhero, now you see the bind I'm in!
That's cool how you referenced a case.

I think the more savvy of us have learned to avoid the message board debate altogether; others have a territorial complex. They've made their arguments, and often don't have the energy to keep repeating them everytime someone starts a thread claiming "oh noes AA is unfair."

Yeah, it gets old quickly.

Commenting on your 'tars, however...

ETA: We're making superhero's case for him now, and cluttering up red's thread. I'll probably delete most of this out for her tomorrow.

Let me show you Derelicte. It is a fashion, a way of life inspired by the very homeless, the vagrants, the crack whores that make this wonderful city so unique.

They're break-dance fighting.

oink.

How you found LSD
I was getting ready for the LSAT and wondering about some aspects of the application process.  I had already read some basic canned info on other sites but I wanted to see an applicant's perspective.  I googled "law school discussion" and guess what the first hit was...

How your posting style changed over time
Piggly began as an enthusiastic LSD n00b, stressing over soon-to-arrive LSAT scores and fretting over every word of his personal statement.  After figuring it all out (aside: just read Ivey's book.  srsly), Piggly settled into a "bulemic p-dubber" phase (Brer's terminology) where he's been ever since.  At times, and against the right poster, Piggly is an advocate of snark and antics.  At other times, Piggly honestly engages in debates.  At yet other times, Piggly dishonestly engages in debates.  Mostly he's just goofy now.

Whether you were mostly shticks or mostly just you and how that changed over time if at all
Piggly is a caricature of me.

How many alts you have, if any
I can think of at least 12 right now.  Most are used once or twice and discarded.

Any crushes you've had
 :-[

Any enemies you've made
LSAT Jesus, JGR, macphisto, red., BB, Hank, and J.

Whether the posters/threads you hang with/in have changed over time and why
Ignoring the initial n00b phase, not really.  I d-dub less now and hang out in superthreads more often.  Most of the posters I interact with regularly were collected over my entire stay here, so there are frequent additions and omissions as new people arrive and old people become less active.  I PM less lately (ahem).

Or anything else that you think is interesting
I'm smrt.

J f-ing hates your guts.

Two things that would improve the experience for some of us.

It's awesome that people forge friendships and all that, but it seems like many threads shift into conversations among "lsd obsessed," often preventing further insights on a topic. Like, nothing wrong with superficial conversation, but the topic is often entirely lost.

I also suspect that some people are turned off by what may be perceived as elitism/insults.

I think you're right, and I used to complain about this a lot myself.
