Prosecutor/DA clinical training
« on: July 11, 2003, 12:47:46 PM »
does anyone know of law schools with good clinical programs to train potential DAs?Prosecutors. I've read a lot of descriptions on the various law school websites, but I was wondering whether anyone out there had any opinions about particular schools....166 LSAT 3.40 GPA from NE Lib-arts school.

Hey there golordjeffs,
With your numbers I would check out:

http://wwx.brooklaw.edu/faculty.b/index/index.php
(Brooklyn Law School)
Brooklyn has a great prosecutorís Law Clinic

http://www.law.wisc.edu/rcid/newevents.htm
(University of Wisconsin)
Events that tailor to prosecutors with statewide education and training  programs

If you want to go IVY then (based on your numberws it isn't likely but it is possible, would never hurt to try (except for those lousy app fees):

http://lawschool.stanford.edu/faculty/pervere/pervere-cv.pdf (Stanford)
Has a great faculty for supervising up incoming DAís

(Yale)
You can always count on Yale to get you a good feeding spot anywhere in the US

Hope this helps, because I researched this stuff before as I wished to become a DA as well since I was 9 years old. Good Luck and have fun.
