Is it ok to supplement an addendum explaining bad grades during your fresh/soph years, with material from high school i.e. transcripts, SAT score?

Ummm, telling them you made great grades in high school and had a high SAT score WILL NOT help your case. It'll make them wonder if you have trouble adjusting to "the next level."
