define those terms.  They use your LSAC gpa...which I don't have the energy to explain.

I graduated with a 3.94, but my cumulative GPA is a 3.47.  I imagine they only take into account my cumulative GPA, correct?

either you have a 3.94, or you have a 3.47.  How can at differ that much?

Usually they do match or it's pretty close.  But not always.  Like if some colleges or universities use a 5.0 GPA scale, I think LSAC tries to "standardize" (or convert or whatever you call it) this GPA into a 4.0 scale.  Or, for example, if you get an A+ but your university doesn't consider an A+ any differently from an A, I think LSAC tries to take that into account in your LSAC GPA.  I'm not 100% sure that's exactly how it works, but it's something along those lines.
