definitely...I was working full-time and going out about 3 or 4 nights a week.  I only applied to schools I would consider attending, so there's nothing wrong them.  Its just that there's apart of me that feels like I didn't do everything I could do.

I had a lot of fun though!!! :D

Going to retake the LSAT?

If I sit out yes, I'd take it again in June '08 and think I could improve by at least 5 points.  Without going into specific numbers, I feel like I could break the top 30 definitely.  I've been working for a few years and am actually happy so I'd just continue doing that for the next year.  I'm being vague only to see if others feel the same way.

I'm sitting out a year. I got accepted to a top 50 school and got a full ride at a couple of T3's. But something just didnt seem right. I figured I would retake the lsat and apply to better schools. Unfortunately, i didn't realize this until a couple of weeks ago. So I'm out $1000 in tuition deposits.

yeah but you know $1000 won't mean much in the grand scheme of things...piece of mind in knowing you made the right decision is all that matters...what do you plan on doing???  are you going to re-take the LSAT???

If you take the June '08 LSAT, you'd actually be sitting out two years :) .  But, if you're having serious doubts, do it.

yes, I know...I figured I wouldn't have enough time to prep for Sept. of this year and in regards to December, I feel like I may as well wait until next year...

the hard part is that the doubts aren't that serious, its kinda day to day...I'll probably go...I'm just shooting for Midlaw anyway...its doable from where I'm admitted.

S.A.

No kidding.  I thought six weeks of prep shows an admirable commitment and attention span.  I guess not.

I thought about sitting out another year, but the longer you drift with the current the harder that is to do.  I still waffle on it, and I know I'll be waffling as I'm Uhauling all my belongs across the country.

so the consensus is that this is normal...at least I know I'm not crazy!!!!  There'll be enough moments to make me crazy during 1L already so I definitely don't need to add more.
