Ford Tauruses dont exist anymore.

HTH

You mean this Ford Taurus doesn't exist anymore?

Thats a Ford Fusion.

HTH

PS - The new Ford cars are all really gross, sans the mustang and the GT

Actually, this is a Ford Fusion.  Unless Ford doesn't know what their own cars are.

Those are both Ford Fusions.  The confusion is common.

Ooooh-Kay then.

Ford brought back the Taurus after rethinking the whole "the name of every car must start with a F thing." If you like at the Ford site, you'll see that a '08 Taurus is available (pretty much a renamed Ford 500).

I didn't realize they were going with the "F" marketing plan.. huh. at any rate, the earlier honda and minivan analogies are spot on.

P.S. The flash site for the ford flex made me vomit.

I too am struggling between the 15 Macbook Pro and the Black Macbook. Currently I have a 12" powerbook, and I love it. Unfortunatly the law school software won't run on this bad boy.

I'm leaning toward the pro but my wallet says to get the blackbook. Anyone notice the black book's screen is pretty dull compared to the macbook pro.

Hey just got a black macbook today. It is super quick but i will admit that the screen leaves something to be desired. Its fine and will be great for taking notes and reading, but it could be better.

I'm leaning toward the Pro. It's more expensive, but it's the only computer I'll have for the next 4 years.

I'm kinda weighing eye strain vs. back pain. Hrm.

I'm with you there. If you put the two side by side, they're actually not that different in size. But the screen brightness is so much better on the Pro that I feel like it's worth it.

The LED-backlit display is nice too.

Very nice. Are you getting the glossy or matte screen?

Just confirmed that the exam software my law school uses has a Mac-native version. SWEET!  :D

Now I will for sure be getting a Mac (and won't have to worry about taking my exams on my 6 year old Compaq).
