I'm going to be carless, do you know how the TARC is in your city? Pretty easy catching a ride/from school? And to get food?

I was looking at places near UofL, any recommendations?

honestly, i've never used tarc and am not very familiar with the routes near u of l.  i live in st. matthews in the east end of louisville (about a 20 minute drive from school).  i'm not originally from here and didn't go to undergrad here but from what i know the old louisville area near campus is popular with some students.  i think you really have to be careful about where you live, though -- some parts of old louisville are a little sketchier than others.  where are you moving from?

No I'm in MD right now but I'll be down there this weekend.

Just got housing, do you guys know anything about on-campus housing??? The graduate housing doesn't look bad online, any thoughts?

On campus housing seems expensive. It might be cheaper to just get a place off campus, though it may not be as convenient.
