I'm going to Touro.  I got into Hofstra, but when I visited both, I liked the people and the building at Touro much better.  Anyone else?

I'm from Long Island.  Completed my Ed. M. in Higher Ed Admin in Buffalo, and am getting married in September.  Whew!  I have a busy year ahead. 

Anyone else?

I am, as I said, from NJ. I went to undergrad at Rutgers but have been out for about three years doing all sorts of political/community work - spent the last two years doing social work in manhattan/the bronx. Defenitly excited for getting out of it, thats for sure.

Any idea when we will get our book lists, or any other type of correspondence from Touro? They seem to have been a little slow with all of this....haha

Notengoplata...  I called Touro to be sure they got my deposit.  They don't correspond until registration.

That's cool that you did social work.  I got my master's, and then wasn't terribly happy with the job offers that I got (and those that my peers got).  Besides, law school is something I always wanted to do; I was just intimidated.  But, I learned that it's not so scary, and those who speak like they know it all probably know very little.  (I hope I don't sound like one of them in this post.  After all, I worked as a temp for a while after my master's).
