okay this is the best quote about paris today.

http://thesuperficial.com/2007/06/paris_hilton_checking_into_twi.php

"Paris Hilton is currently being checked into the Twin Towers Correctional Facility, the same place she checked herself into Sunday night after the MTV Movie Awards. And that means pretty soon she'll be in for another strip search. If the family of the prison guards don't hear back from them anytime soon, don't worry, they're probably just lost somewhere in her vagina. I heard it took Lewis and Clark eight months to find their way out of there."

Liz, at what point did everyone become able to see Snuffleupugus?  I remember when only Big Bird could see him.  And then, suddenly, everybody could.  What gives?

Well, Bernie, in 1985, Big Bird became frustrated at not having the existence of his trusty invisible pal Snuffy believed. So Big Bird arranged for the the adults of Sesame Street to meet Mr. Aloysius Snuffleupagus at his nest at the sound of the special word, food.

The adults then apologized one by one to Big Bird for not believing him.

Ooo, and whatever happened to the kid who starred in Karate Kid?

And is Tanya Harding still in prison?

And why don't people use the word "disabuse" more.  I love that word.

if tanya harding isn't in prison, she will be soon.

[insert question on self-hypnosis here]

well, Barnum, self-hypnosis, also known as "autosuggestion", is the psychological method of visualization and affirmations or desired beliefs while in a deep state of relaxation. Often guided by psychotherapists or led by precorded tapes or CD, self-hypnosis is often used to "cure" bad habits or unhelpful modes of thinking: losing weight, quitting smoking, public speaking fears, and TEST ANXIETY are some of the most common topics and goals.
