I think I got above a 170 on 18 out of the last 20 practice tests I took.  Please don't hate me.   :)

The appropriateness of Perpetua would probably depend on the tone of the writing.  When I used it, I (half playfully) thought the extra space made the words sort of resonate.

Understanding this answer is a PREREQUISITE to getting a 170+.

Man....if I tell you....it's like telling people your birthday wish...... it won't come true.

But if you are willing to make that sacrifice

Liar.
And I hate you.

Didn't we decide this thread was all about lying?

And I think you're kind of witty.   :)

In order to get above a 170, the sun must be shining, Saturn's rings need to be aligned, and your test proctor must be a nice person.

Realistically, there are two ways you can break 170...

1) You have inherently superior logical reasoning ability and require no prep to break 170 (i.e. you broke 170 on your first practice test...)

2) Practice, practice, practice. Get the PowerScore books and other prep material, familiarize yourself with the different sorts of problems and tricks to test questions. The key is to practice until it becomes second nature.

Disclaimer: Some people will probably never be able to break 170, but this is not something to cry over since 170+ is 98th percentile anyways...

Just do your best preparing for the LSAT and you'll at the very least improve your pre-prep score...

So, in summation, there are only two ways to break a 170.
Do it without practicing or do it with practicing.

Lol, as I said, witty.  The type of thing I never would have thought of here in my glass house.

Glass house?
And why are you flirting with me? :D
Most people with 170 are not even the type with computers. All they do is go to the library and read real books. Not idiots like Jeffort who have been on this board for years and years posting witty nonsense.

Alright JGR, people who live in glass houses...

Not flirting...complimenting!
