Need an additional soft factor?
« on: May 30, 2007, 04:50:32 PM »
Well, if you're looking for that extra edge, why not join the ministry over at the Universal Life Church? Ordination is literally just a click away.

Jesting aside, how do you think admissions would have looked upon this had I listed it as one of my soft factors? On the one hand, it is a real ordination and has held up in a court of law... while on the other, the button you click to submit your information says "ordain me" and then you become a ULC Minister and get a welcome from Brother Kevin.

Thoughts?

If you really want an additional soft factor, why not just go with "2006 Person of the Year, Time Magazine".
I'll join the cool crowd: 3.23/173
Blinded by the light (Attending): UVA!!! Wahoo 2010!!!
Wrapped up like a feminine hygiene product (Accepted): UVA!! Fordham, Georgetown!!! NYU!!!!!!!!!

I think if the person reading your file is sitting in front of a computer, and they do a 3-second Google search, you're probably screwed.
