4 wl, rejected on LSN in the past two days...one as early as an hour ago. Maybe no news is good news at this point? I'll feel a lot better when it's 2 days from now and I still haven't gotten an email like that.

Congrats to you, fullbrighter!

On another note: this may be sort of useless to everyone else, but I called Penn today and they informed me that they have been sending out accepted/rejected notices to WL students for a few weeks and that they are going to continue to do so for the next two or so.

I was also told that I wont have a decision on my file. They're keeping me as "Waitlisted". Huzzah  ::)

Random question but is everything email/phone call at this point? Or do we need to be checking our mail as well for these "updates"

I had been on hold until last week when Ms Post asked me to call her.  I have been admitted to the Class of 2011 (a one-year deferment, starting in Aug 2008).  It works out perfect for me, as I am still working project overseas with my firm.  Anyway, I never post to these sort of things but wanted to offer a glimmer of hope.  I am in at PENN and am so excited about it.  Live in the DC area and work full-time as a defense contractor.  Good luck guys.

you were asked to defer?

Clemens...I was given the option to remain on the waitlist for this year or defer for one year with guaranteed admission in fall 2008.  I elected to go with guaranteed admission and am happy with the decision.

Rumor has it that decisions are being mailed out this week for much of the waitlist. Good luck everyone!

Just read on LSN that Penn is mailing letters that say "their incoming class is full and they aren't considering anyone else on the waitlist."

They'll still keep a few of us right??
