The tired of waiting / anyone heard from...? thread
« on: May 11, 2007, 04:07:02 PM »
Looking anywhere I can for news and/or movement. (Tired of looking at LSN about every 10 minutes) Post your own 'tired of waiting' school inquiry.

Has anyone on the Chapman WL been accepted?
Has anyone on the WL for Southwestern been accepted?

Any news on these topics would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

I was accepted off the Southwestern waitlist on May 9th.  I also plan to withdraw from Chapman within the week.  Now just waiting on Loyola...has anyone been accepted off of the Loyola waitlist.  I don't expect they will start drawing off the waitlist until June.

Congrats on SW and good luck with Loyola!!!  Now, if I could just scoop up your Chapman seat...

I'm annoyed.  Anyone else get an email from Chapman today annoucing the new Dean?  Why keep me in the info loop?  I am just on the wait list.  They might as well send me an email that says "See what you're missing?!"  What a total tease.

Meanwhile, they had an online chat last night about what you should do to prep for orientaion and the first year of school.  So, anyone they let in at this point has already missed out on some info.

I admit it, I am getting bitter.  Anyone else?

Thanks for letting me vent.

I'm also waiting to hear back from SW and Chapman. Both schools were incredibly helpful to me in understanding why the waitlist may take awhile. I would assume after June 15 when most of the final seat deposits are due they would finally have a more precise estimate as to how many they can grant offers to. So I guess just hang in there. Even if you hear back early July it would still be worth the wait assuming you aren't planning on moving Early July.

I'm waiting to hear from U of Arizona, SMU and Catholic.  I am also waiting to hear from Marquette, they sent me an email stating that they haven't made a decision on me yet...
