Hmmmm, I am really not sure what I think of it - on the one hand, it seems that a hatch of this sort could be helpful in increasing birth rates as well as 'protecting' unwanted children from social harms that COULD occur if stuck with their parents or, worse, abandoned in an unsafe place. On the other hand, it does seem rather extreme. While I do not neccesarily agree, I think a lot of people might argue that this could lead to an increase in unsafe sex, etc.

I am very interested to hear what other people's thoughts on this are
