I'm waitlisted at UCLA. Immediately after receiving the waitlist letter, i sent an additional LOR and a LOCI. After 10 days, I sent admissions an email asking them to confirm receipt of my materials. This morning I received a phone call from a young lady in admissions. She said she was calling in response to my email. While she wouldn't confirm whether my materials had been received or not, she did invite me to come take a tour of the UCLA Law campus this coming Monday. She said the dean "might be there, depending on his schedule." I tried to get more information out of her, but it seemed like she was on a short leash (i.e. not at liberty to release too much info). At the end of the convo, i asked her to clarify whether Admissions had received my materials. She said "You can look at your file when you get here."
I'm obviously going to the tour (I reside in San Diego so its a short drive). Anybody else been through anything similar?
