No, for all the reasons listed by "yourlocalsuperhero."

The appropriateness of Perpetua would probably depend on the tone of the writing.  When I used it, I (half playfully) thought the extra space made the words sort of resonate.

What's wrong with supporting corporate accountability? It's like supporting leprechauns and sober Irishmen.

Seriously, why worry about the earth? It's not like it's the only planet we know of capable of sustaining life as we know it, or anything.

And it's not like health care makes you not sick or dead or anything.

Saw dashrashi's LSN site. Since she seems to use profanity, one could say that HYP does not necessarily mean class or refinement.

I'm sure Hank will change his mind once the water levels rise enough and Manhattan starts flooding.

Yes. I went to one of his campaign stops before the 2000 election. Everything they say about him being dry and boring is totally wrong.

Yeah, it's funny how the media creates these conceptions of various candidates and they beat those into your head. I actually think Edwards is probably more boring than Gore/Kerry but he's the media's "charismatic" and "Clintonesque" darling. Interestingly, I was reading this article during the '04 campaign about how in '00, when Kerry was being considered as a running mate for Gore, various newspapers were suggesting that Kerry could bring some "charisma" to the ticket...4 years later, the media decided that his flaw was that he was too "dull."

Gore's missing the opportunity of a lifetime by not running while he has all of this publicity going for him. And none of the other Democrats have really enthralled me, so I would likely vote for him.

He's just waiting for these other candidates to duke it out and tire out, and then he'll announce around labor day I believe. The thing with him is name recognition/fundraising/organization will be no problem whatsoever since he already has the machinery in place, so announcing late won't necessarily hurt him too much.

To answer the poll, I'd enthusiastically support him if he's the nominee but it would be a tough call in the primaries.

In terms of qualifications, he's certainly got the creds.  I like Obama but I think he's too young and would like to see him try again in say 10 years when he has more political experience.  And I like Hillary too, but she's really polarizing and I'm not sure she'd win a general election.  Maybe I'm wrong though.

I'm sure Hank will change his mind once the water levels rise enough and Manhattan starts flooding.

Which means he won't change his mind until he's dead, probably, which sounds about right.
I can't believe these obnoxious Michigan students, who use the board not to share information, but to socialize (as pathetic as that is)
