It's nice to see some posts here in the SLS '10 thread!  I also don't understand why there are so few LSD posters headed to SLS this fall-- we have a pretty good showing on facebook.  Max Fischer-- congratulations on your decision!  Will you be living on campus?

I should have joined in the fun a long time ago. I'm actually here on campus already and loving every minute of it. The university is kind enough to let families move in in late June.  It's gorgeous here and there's no shortage of things to do in the area. I wish we had more people posting on LSD too.  I'm always eager to hear about Stanford.

Wow.  I go away for a few days, and then an explosion of activity in my absence.  Page two, baby!

I'm not sure about housing yet, Mike.  I called the Graduate Housing Operations office last week and they said that they _would_ have a placement for me by the first week of August.  I hope that info was accurate; otherwise, it's going to be a scramble.

just thought I'd add to the SLS thread because...well, it needs some posts. Mike, how do you think Stanford is gonna be the second time around? I miss the farm already!
